Anika Shah
Engineer & Calculator-Formula Auditor
Anika maintains the calculator codebase and audits every formula against published regulatory
frameworks before release. She has a B.Eng. in Computer Science and 10 years building
consumer-finance and trading software. Every loan, amortization, refinance, and compounding
calculator on the site is cross-checked against two independent reference implementations
(a spreadsheet model and an open-source Python module) before going live.
How we hire and vet contributors
Beyond the core team, LoanCalc.tech occasionally publishes guest articles by named external experts.
Every external contributor must (1) hold a relevant credential (CFP, CFA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent
regulator-recognized qualification), (2) disclose any conflicts of interest, and (3) clear our
in-house fact-checking process. Their bios appear on the article they wrote, and any review byline
is also a real, named individual.
